Michelle Dube - Tijeras Creek Golf Club
Michelle Dube' is a Class A member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Division and has over twelve years experience teaching and competing as a Professional golfer. She has taught all skill levels from low and mid handicap amateurs, collegiate players, as well as beginners and juniors.
Michelle was nominated LPGA teacher of the year for the Western section three years in a row- 2002, 2003, and 2004. She was also the golf extra columnist writing the golf tips for the Orange County Register.
In addition to teaching at Tijeras Creek Golf Club, Michelle provides turnkey programs, using video swing analysis, that will enhance your next golf tournament. To learn more about charity/corporate golf event programs offered.
Michelle's solid teaching skills in the full swing, chipping, pitching and putting areas are focused on improving the student's playing ability. She works with her students in establishing goals and objectives by which improved performance is measured.
Michelle accelerates her students learning through Computerized Swing Analysis, a computerized video system that allows the instructor and student to immediately view various positions of the golf swing and determine those adjustments necessary to improve the swing. Michelle says, "By using computerized swing analysis, you can review the students past swings against their current swing and easily see the improvements made. Not only is this valuable to me but it helps to motivate my students as well."
For peak performance, she incorporates aspects of sports psychology and applies elements of physical conditioning and stretching. By combining swing mechanics, short game techniques, physical training and a good mindset for golf, students achieve maximum results. Her personable style, extensive use of training aids and drills with a relaxed direct approach to problem solving has made her a sought-after teacher for students at all skill levels.
